It Has Been Said…

Anya is everything you want in an artist. Gentle, kind, and generous to meet. Then the ferocity and inner fires that she keeps well banked can take you by surprise and make you laugh out loud or move you to tears.

— Bruce Roach, Acting Instructor

“Anya is quiet and powerful and she unleashes her fierceness on stage in her work.… She is kind and willing to experiment and explore in all the work she does. She has inspired me as a teacher and as a human. It is a great honor to work with her.”

— Lucinda Holshue, Voice Instructor

“Anya is a true theater-maker, in that she just genuinely loves to craft. It’s not ‘work’ to her. She modestly goes about her business, yet her creativity, skill-set, and drive have led to some of the most amazing things I’ve seen as a teacher here.”
